Miami car crash claims two lives

A 26-year-old man was arrested in a fatal Miami car crash that claimed the lives of two people. The man, who was under the influence, drove into a car that had been stopped at a red light at an intersection, killing its occupants immediately.

Toxicology reports indicate that the man who caused the auto accident had been driving under the influence of alcohol. Authorities determined that he had been speeding when he hit the victims’ car during the early morning crash.

After reviewing the terrible scene, Traffic Homicide Unit officers secured an arrest warrant for the man who hit the cars. He had sustained injuries, and he was recovering at a local hospital; however, he was placed into custody. Once he is released from the hospital, he will be transported to the Dade County Jail.

Those driving under the influence can cause fatal accidents that create devastation for people left behind. Unfortunately, the families and friends of loved ones suffer pain and suffering long after the accident occurs. All of a sudden, families can be faced with medical bills and funeral expenses. They also may struggle with loss of wages, particularly if the victims left little ones behind.

People involved in serious automobile accidents may be entitled to damages. Many people choose to consult with a personal injury attorney who may be able to help them secure monetary compensation. Experienced attorneys can gather evidence to aid them with their cases and will try their best to help them obtain the compensation they deserve. Lawyers may be able to help those who wish to file personal injury claims.
