Three-vehicle wreck leaves one dead, one injured

A Florida man was killed and another was injured in a vehicle wreck involving a truck, SUV and a school bus. According to the report, the car accident occurred when a truck crossed the center line and collided head on with the SUV. The impact caused the SUV to lose control and to crash into an empty school bus that was attempting to stop.

The impact of the accident also sent the truck off the road. The truck came to rest partially inside of a business. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital, but his condition was not reported. No one else was injured in the accident.

The roadways were closed for at least seven hours while emergency personnel were at the scene. As of this report, the identities of those involved in the fatal accident had not yet been released, as they had not yet notified the families. Law enforcement is still investigating what caused the truck driver to drift across the center line to cause the accident.

When a car accident occurs, those who are involved can be seriously injured or even killed. Serious injuries that may be sustained include traumatic brain injury, broken bones, abrasions and neck and back pain. However, those who were injured or surviving family members may be eligible for compensation to help cover medical costs, funeral expenses and pain and suffering. Using the police records, accident reconstruction methods and witness testimony, the attorney may be able to prove who was liable for the accident and to demonstrate the full extent of the injuries in order to maximize the amount of compensation that may be awarded to the family or injured person.
